Elevated Ice Cream Co. began in 1977 as a humble street vendor, serving scoops from a quirky antique Victorian elevator cage in a courtyard. The popularity of our ice cream grew so quickly that by the following year, we opened a year-round parlor on Franklin Street, and eventually, we settled into our current Water Street location in 1981. Since then, we’ve proudly served generations of locals and visitors, creating memories with every cone and chocolate.

Our founders, Julie and David, learned the art of ice cream making from a family friend who had operated an ice cream parlor in Seattle for decades. His expert recipes and techniques are still used today, ensuring that our flavors stay true to their original inspiration. Over the years, we’ve expanded our offerings, but our commitment to quality, authenticity, and a joyful experience remains at the heart of everything we do.
